We stayed 2 people in one room and 3 in the other. With the ambition I believe The Allen has, this should be the no 1 priority since check in is always the first impression. We had to wait for our check in since one of our rooms was not ready. But, we had a few things or situations which brings the overall grade down. Reception and staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself including the rooms have a very good standard although the neighborhood seems a bit rough (at least for us). Hotel is located in LES close to Chinatown and Little Italy and has several train stations if you want to use the subway to Brooklyn or up town. 1.97km from downtown We had a family stay (6 people) at the Allen Hotel for six days.
